Why We Are Here

Our mission at Grace Community Church is to “Love God, Love People, Prove It."

-Love God

Matthew 22:37 says, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.”
Our mission at Grace is to see people love God through a personal relationship with Him. We accomplish this by knowing and growing in Christ.

-Our desire is that you Love God through:

-Studying God’s Word
-Prayer and Fasting

-Love People

Matthew 22:39 says, “And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
Our mission at Grace is that when you Love God you will in turn Love People. If God has a love and passion for people, then His children should also have this passion. We also desire an Acts 2 Community at Grace. Acts 2:42-47 says, “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved”

Our desire is that people will reflect an Acts 2:42-47 Community which includes:

-Biblical Teaching
-Desperate Prayer
-Authentic Fellowship
-Sacrificial Love
-Genuine Worship

-Prove It

We live in a day and time where people are looking for something real. Here at Grace we are not perfect, but we desire to be a real and authentic church. We want to be a church that is more than just words, but puts our words into action. Our desire is that we Love God and Love People in word but also in action. Our church has a passion for the Great Commandment and the Great Commission. Matthew 28:18-20 says,“And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." We are on a mission from God to display our love for God and love for people. "You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people’s feet." "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”
