When and where do you meet?
Grace Community meets at 9350 US Highway 278 East
in Cullman, Al. Our church is located right across from the Jet Pep complex on
Highway 278. Look for our signage on Highway 278 that will lead you to our
church. We are easily reached by people from Cullman, Fairview, Holly Pond,
Snead, Arab and Blountsville, and etc. Our worship time is 10:30 am on
Sunday mornings. We also have Wed. Nights where we have bible studies
for students, kids and adults at 6:30 pm.
What to wear?
Grace Community is a casual and welcoming church with a “come as you are”
style. We don't have a dress code, so feel free to dress in jeans, shorts, flip
flops or whatever you are comfortable in. We value people, not the clothes that
they wear. So grab whatever you feel comfortable in and make your way to Grace
Community Church.
What about my kids?
Every Sunday we offer a special program for kids K5-5 grade called “Grace Kids
Church” The kids join their parents in worship for the “music” portion of our
service. They are then dismissed right before the message time to their
classroom where they will enjoy bible teaching and fun with other kids. Every
Sunday our leaders work hard to make it a fun and exciting experience for kids
to learn about the Bible. We believe that children deserve our best so caring
volunteers will make sure every kid feels welcomed and are taught that God loves
them. We also have a nursery for infants-4 year olds available during the entire
worship service with great leaders who will watch your children while you
worship.
What is involved in the worship service?
Every week at Grace, we work hard to provide you with an exciting experience where you can connect with God through praise and worship music and solid biblical teaching. Before the service, we have snacks and drinks available for free to everyone. Look for our Grace Café in the back of the worship center. The praise team will kick off our service with an opening worship song. The words to the music used during the service will be on the screens for you to follow. They’ll be a welcoming time but we will not make any of our guests stand out in any way. The welcoming is followed by more worship songs, then a message by our pastor. Pastor Tim is passionate about the Bible and knows that it is the truth that sets people free. He does not teach his opinion on life, he seeks to teach and preach the truth of God’s Word that will change your life. The service usually lasts from 10:30-12 pm.
Will I be asked to give money?
At Grace, we are committed to the biblical teaching of tithing to God so we will
receive an offering. While tithes and offering is an important part of how we
worship at Grace, we promise that we won’t hassle you for money. In fact, we
would ask that you allow us to give to you on your fist visit. Any offerings you
may give are completely your decision.
Will I be singled out as a guest?
We will take a moment to say "welcome" to our guests, but nothing will be done that would embarrass you. You will not be asked to stand or to say anything or otherwise be made to feel uncomfortable. However, we have a communication card in our bulletin that we hand out when you enter the service. We would love for our guests to fill this card out and place it in the offering plate when it is passed by. However, this decision is completely up to you. We will not add you to a mailing list with this information; we will send you a card thanking you for your visit.
