Since part of our mission at Grace is to Love God and People, there is a big emphasis on small groups. There is no better way to grow as a Christian than to gather with others in a small group environment. Email pastor@gracecommunitychurch.us if you have any questions or would like to join a community group.
A Grace Group is a gathering of 7-15 people who meet together each week to encourage each other in their walk with God. The group usually consists of fellowshipping over a meal, praying together and studying the bible. Most group members already attend Grace, but sometimes folks visit a group first and then check out Grace.
Grace Groups meet on semester basis on Sunday Nights in the homes of Grace Members, or on campus at Church. We have a fall semester that runs from Sept to early Dec and a Spring Semester that runs from February through May. This gives everyone the opportunity to exit and enter groups according to their schedule.
We need each other! We were created to live in community with others and Grace Groups provide the perfect opportunity to share your highs and lows in life. They only require a couple of hours of investment, but they provide huge dividends. The groups are a place to be encouraged, equipped, and challenged to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
If you are interested in visiting a grace group you can either email us at pastor@gracecommunitychurch.us or fill out the communication card located in the worship bulletin each Sunday and place it in the offering plate when it is passed by. Either way, when you express your desire to be in a group, we will contact you and give you information concerning the groups available. From there, you pick the group that best fits your needs.
The goal of a Grace Group is to reflect the community that is shown in Acts 2: 42-47. We want to see people who are dedicated to biblical teaching, authentic fellowship, genuine worship, desperate prayer and sacrificial love. The Christian Life and Walk is meant to be done in a community setting and we feel that Grace Groups will be vital to your spiritual health and maturity.
